Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all orders placed with PetraPack ("we", "us") through petrapack.co.nz, or by phone or email. By placing an order you accept these terms, together with our Return & Refund Policy and Shipping Policy.
Prices & GST
All prices are shown excluding GST — you're buying wholesale, and GST is added at checkout. Prices may change without notice; the price confirmed at the time of your order is the price that applies.
Quotes
Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After that, just ask and we'll re-confirm pricing and availability.
Pack sizes
Goods are sold by the half tray, full tray or carton as shown on each product page — that pack size is the only minimum. Bulk pricing is available on request for orders over 1,000 units.
Payment
Standard orders are paid in full before dispatch. Special-order and customised goods require a 50% deposit to confirm the order, with the balance payable before delivery. Where a card surcharge applies (up to 3%, depending on payment method), it will be shown before you pay. For approved trade accounts, overdue amounts may incur interest and reasonable costs of recovery.
Special orders
Special-order and customised goods are ordered specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged for change of mind. Faulty goods are always covered under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Delivery, risk & ownership
Delivery is per our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery; ownership passes once the goods are paid for in full.
Damage & shortages
Please check your order on arrival and report transit damage or shortages as soon as possible — ideally within 3 business days of delivery — so we can lodge a claim with the courier while it's still open. See our Return & Refund Policy for details. Your Consumer Guarantees Act rights are not affected by this timeframe.
Returns
Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery under the conditions set out in our Return & Refund Policy.
Product suitability
You're responsible for confirming that a container suits your product and process — including compatibility with your contents, filling method and any heat processes — before committing to a production run. We're always happy to help you choose, and our Packaging Help guides are a good place to start, but final testing with your own product is yours to do.
Business customers
Where you acquire goods from us in trade for business purposes, you agree that the guarantees in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, and sections 9, 12A and 13 of the Fair Trading Act 1986, do not apply, and that it is fair and reasonable that you are bound by this clause. This does not affect consumers purchasing for personal use.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to goods supplied is limited to replacement of the goods or a refund of the price paid. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version published at the time of your order applies to that order.
